Why Study Live

Most business education prepares you for a meeting where someone hands you a deck. Study Live prepares you for the meeting where you have to defend the deck you made — about the business you actually ran.

Three businesses launched

You leave the programme with a portfolio of three startups you actually executed — not three case studies you analysed.

Three countries, three markets

Live and operate in three distinct regulatory, cultural, and commercial environments — one project per country, four months in each.

Investor-ready by default

Your portfolio talks the language venture capital, family businesses, and corporate boards already speak — revenue, growth, and judgement under pressure.

What you execute

Six academic disciplines, taught alongside the live projects. Every module is graded on how well you applied it to the business you are running — not on how well you described it on paper.

Strategy

Choose markets, choose moves, choose your timing. Each module ends with a live decision you make on a real business — not a case study.

Finance

Read the P&L of your own startup every week. Build a runway model, defend it, and adjust it when reality disagrees.

Marketing

Run actual campaigns to actual customers with an actual budget. Measure CAC, LTV, and conversion the moment the campaign lands.

Operations

From supply contracts to customer support, you run the whole machine. The textbook explains why; the day-to-day teaches how.

International business

Three countries, three regulatory regimes, three cultural codes. Cross-border execution becomes muscle memory, not theory.

Risk management

Things break. You learn what to do when they do. Failure and recovery are graded as learning — not punished as mistakes.

How it works

From admission to graduation in twelve months. Predictable structure, deliberately unpredictable business reality.

01 Selection A short application and conversation with our admissions team. We look for capability, hunger, and the ability to learn fast under pressure — not perfect transcripts.
02 Startup assignment Each student (or small team) is assigned a real startup project in the first cohort country, with a real operational budget, clear commercial objectives, and live revenue targets.
03 Live execution You run the business. Market research, pricing, sales, operations, cash management — every decision is real. Each academic module is applied to the live project the same week it is taught.
04 Country rotation After each ~4-month project, you move to the next country, take on a new business, and operate in a new regulatory and cultural environment. Three projects, three countries, three full market-entry experiences.
05 Graduation portfolio You leave with a portfolio of three executed businesses, real P&L track records, and the relationships you built across three markets. No simulated case studies — just receipts.

Study Live vs the traditional MBA

Both teach business. Only one of them grades you on whether the business worked.

Frequently asked

Common questions about Study Live — eligibility, fees, logistics, and outcomes.

Who is this programme for?

Ambitious individuals from any background who want to build commercial judgement at speed — recent graduates moving into entrepreneurship, working professionals planning a step into general management, family-business successors, and aspiring founders. We assess capability and motivation; we do not require a specific undergraduate degree.

How much does it cost, and is funding available?

Programme fees vary by cohort and country mix. We publish current fee schedules with each cohort launch. GBCORP offers a limited number of merit-based partial scholarships and works with regional partners on structured payment plans. Email [email protected] for the current cohort prospectus.

What about visas, travel, and living arrangements?

We handle the framework: programme visas where required, vetted accommodation in each city, structured travel between rotation countries, and country-specific operating support. You handle the business — we handle the logistics around it.

When do cohorts start, and how many places are there?

Cohorts open at fixed times each year. Class size is deliberately small — we cap each cohort to keep mentorship and project oversight high-touch. Specific dates and seat counts are published with each prospectus.

What happens if my startup project struggles or fails?

It is treated as a learning outcome, not a penalty. The point of running real businesses is that some will under-perform, and the recovery decisions you make under that pressure are some of the most valuable parts of the programme. You are graded on the quality of your decisions, not the smoothness of the journey.

What can I do after graduating?

Graduates leave with proven execution track records that translate immediately into founder roles, corporate strategy positions, family-business leadership, or venture-capital pathways. Many continue working with the businesses they built; others join GBCORP companies across our 17-country network. We make introductions where we can.
